2025 Congress – Lyon from 14 to 19 July

The International Willems® Federation is delighted to invite you to its 2025 International Congress, to be held in Lyon from Monday 14 to Saturday 19 July.
Open to all those who wish to discover, experiment with or deepen their knowledge of the musical pedagogy developed by Edgar Willems, this congress is aimed at teachers, musicians, students and the curious from all walks of life. No previous level or training is required.
A programme structured around the Willems® pedagogy
and instrumental practice

The Congress is designed as a time for experimentation and collective reflection on music education according to the principles of Edgar Willems®.
It will be structured around several complementary formats:
Public lessons and teaching practices
Observe, debate and understand the foundations of the Willems® progression, from early musical education to advanced musical training.
→ With the participation of children from Willems® schools in the Lyon region.

Each evening (except Friday) will be dedicated to a concert free to participants and open to the general public.
