Aleix Mañosas Casso

Born in Barcelona on 03/06/1984. Raised from an early age in a musical environment, he studied piano and music education through the Edgar Willems method.

At the age of 19 he began his professional training with Jacques Chapuis, who introduced him to the art of the piano and the pedagogical universe of Edgar Willems.

For 6 years he will last this intimate training until the death of Jacques in 2007.

From 2007 to 2011 he continued his higher piano studies with the pianist and teacher Manuela Gouveia, successfully completing his higher studies in classical and contemporary studies.

From then until today he dedicates his efforts to piano pedagogy, to the study of “modern” music in a self-taught way and to music education.

He currently combines his teaching activity with vocal and choral training with Eduardo Laher and is an active member of the music group DejaVu, a Funk, Jazz and Neo Soul group as a singer, keyboardist and composer.
