Harpsichordist and Chief Vocalist

A graduate of the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Lyon and the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp, Anne-Catherine Vinay studied with Huguette Dreyfus, Françoise Langellé, Jos van Immerseel and continuo with Jesper Christensen at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis.

As a conductor, she is regularly engaged at the Opéra de Lyon: Glück’s Orfeo conducted by Franz Brüggen, Monteverdi’s Orfeode with Philipp Picket, Poppea’s Coronation with William Christie, Handel’s Alcina conducted by Alessandro de Marchi, Mozart’s Clemenza di Titus conducted by Jérémie Rohrer, The Marriage of Figaro and Don Giovanni with Stefano Montanari, also playing the fortepiano. She works regularly with Jean-Claude Malgoire, for Orlando and Giulio Cesare by Handel, l’Anima del filosofo by Haydn. Anne-Catherine Vinay regularly plays under the direction of Marc Minkowsky, Franz Brüggen, Christophe Coin, Paul Mc Creesh, Laurence Cummings, Enrico Onofri, Ton Koopman with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio-France, the Orchestre National de Lyon, the Orchestre d’Auvergne with Arie van Beek.

She is a founding member of the ensemble Unisoni and performs both in France and abroad.
